Boo-Boo Update

I have mentioned earlier about Ozzy's Boo-boo, maybe I spoke to soon when I said his nail won't fall off...well..its day 4 and the nail looks definitely dead. *cue music*

A family friend whose a doctor looked at his nail and said that it looks like it has gone to nail heaven and will fall off soon. He'll be okay though, as long as we just clean his dead nail daily there's no need to worry.

You see, I was pretty worried looking at his poor little finger because it was swelling and was beet red on the 2nd day. Its pretty obvious there's infection (over share?) and by Sunday..his nails was changing color already..and you can actually see it detaching from the skin. (ew!)

Oh well, he's a kid and he's a boy! I can't be there at all times to protect him - even though I feel bad about the little accident; there are times I really can't protect him. Times like this I really wish I'd had him wear a baseball glove or helmet, or an Armour! hee!

Anyway, the only good thing is the boy actually learned his lesson (the hard way!). He doesn't slam the door close now, he slowly closes it.
