Hey Mate!

My husband and I are seriously considering relocating out of the country for a brighter and much lucrative job offers. Norway is a great place and all but its kind of expensive to live in. Aside from that, they are hiring engineers that will work in plants and all that. Although I am an engineer by profession, I have not practiced that since I graduated.

We were looking into other cities and opened up our option for different places. Australia caught my eye. For one, Melbourne is known for it was once said the 'world's top city'. It is a very livable city and also a very affordable city at that. People get the value for their money for great products, including top fashion and restaurants.

In addition to that they have the annual Melbourne Cup! It is Australia's major annual thoroughbred horse race. Billed as The race that stops a nation, it is for three-year-olds and over, and covers a distance of 3,200 meters. It is generally regarded as the most prestigious "two-mile" handicap in the world. The event is held on the first Tuesday in November by the Victoria Racing Club, on the Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne. This day was traditionally only a public holiday within metropolitan Melbourne, but is now also observed as a holiday in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT).

Sounds like a fun place to raise a family. Don't you agree?
