These pictures were taken in Singapore last week when we went to Chinatown. This is the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum is a living cultural monument in the heart of Chinatown housing what Buddhist leaders regard as the Sacred Buddha Tooth Relic in a magnificent Relic Stupa composed of 420kg of gold donated by devotees.
Other highlights of a visit to the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple & Museum include the Buddhist Culture Museum and more; you can even go up to the roof to appreciate the sites and orchid species specially named after the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple & Museum.
You can read more about the temple here. We did not really do the whole tour of the temple and museum we only stopped for a bit; took pictures and appreciated the craftsmanship of the structure. After which we took a stroll down the road and looked for "pasalubongs" and some promotional products which we can give away to friends and family back home.

Such an imposing style - yet really delicate. So unlike what we see in the USA, but ageless in style and beauty.
ohh...thanks for sharing. I have not been there before. Maybe next time. ;)
Love the style of the house, very pretty and fairytailish! Not too keen on its place amidst all those highrising buildings though, not quite the perfect place for such a sweet house.
What a beautiful building! The red is rich and deep. Thanks for sharing!
