Low Cost Insurance
Tuesday, July 21, 2009
When my friends and I get together, we usually talk about nonsense stuff and relationships. Lately though, I guess since we're all getting older (and wiser?) we also talk more about investing, getting insurance and saving up. I was telling my friends, who as far as I know are earning well but not saving enough, to invest in a nice lot or maybe start with a low cost health insurance. It's not enough that their company gives them medicard or what-not. It is still vital for them to get one. Now is the perfect time where they have the means and they are still young so they won't be charged with a higher premium. When I got my insurance I was single and 21 years old; so I got it at a much cheaper price. Right now 5 years later, I would not be surprised if I would be charged double for my premium. Being insured is like a safety net, we never know what will happen. One day we are fine, the next were not. So better start investing now before it is too late.
