On Kitchen What-nots.

My mother was talking about remodeling the kitchen to make it bigger and add a few more cabinets. Just the other day one of the cabinet's door broke because it was designed to be huge the hinges gave in. Also, mom thinks the sink's too small for our daily use. This is a house-slash-office after all. So during weekdays, there are extra mouths to feed so extra plates and utensils to wash. We were looking around lately for kitchen sinks, something that looks like this; it looks functional and chic.

Anyway, mother has already completed her project on our dining area where she has added cupboards to stow away her favorite utensils, plates and bowls. I never used to understand with my mom's fascination with kitchen stuff until now. It's like when you have your very own house its natural to want to fill it with things you like and find beautiful - naturally. Besides, you live there most of the time and its the kitchen you go to first thing in the morning to eat so why not make it as homey as possible? That's why I promised myself a big, white kitchen and a big dining room when I myself have my own home.
