Wisdom Tooth

My Dentist's secretary called me up a few days back reminding me its time for my semi-annual teeth cleaning. I know its overdue and all, but I would have to wait for Hubby to come home so that we can do that together. Right now, I really can't find the time to swing by the dentists office. I do make up for it by brushing my teeth properly, rinsing with anti-bac mouth wash and flossing. I hope they offer dental discounts on December. Which reminds me I still have to have my other 2 wisdom teeth surgically removed. Each tooth cost me over P5,000.00 each the last time!

Honestly, what's the use of those 4 wisdom tooth anyway? I know for a fact, wisdom teeth are the third and final set of molars that most people get in their late teens or early twenties. Most of than not, they are misaligned and require removal. However, they can be beneficial when healthy and properly aligned. Most people I know had their wisdom teeth removed. The term "impacted" tooth is what I hear often. All my 4 are impacted. So, sadly they are of no use to me. That is extra reason why I should not delay visiting the dentist.
