Quiet Night

Date night tonight. Yey!

Hub and I are planning to watch Transformers 3. It has been ages since we last went out on a date and I can't help but feel giddy. Well, granted this is just a semi date; meaning half of the time we'll be doing some errands for our son's birthday and some last minute grocery shopping - still it feels like a date because we'd be out sans the kiddies. It's weird how when you become a parent, you feel suffocated and long for a quiet night without strollers and bulky bags but then when you're out already, you feel anxious about the kids' well-being, so of course, you rush home, ruining the night all the same. I vow not to be like that this time.

Hub and I haven't seen each other for months so we definitely deserve some quiet time even if it's just for a few hours.
